2024 Tundra Towing Capacity Reddit. I might have to trade in the 21 tacoma (4×4, double cab, long bed, should be good for 6400lbs) for a tundra because of towing capacity. The 4 wheel drive model has less towing capacity than the 2 wheel drive model because of the weight of the additional components for 4×4.
Based on everything i’ve read, this should be well within the limits of the tundra, but unclear if i need a weight distribution hitch, or need to consider anything else. Payload capacity includes passengers in the vehicle, whatever is in the bed and the cab, as well as the tongue weight of whatever youโre towing.
